Creative Design Internship (College Sophomore-Senior)

Imagine working for a rapidly growing tech company that builds and markets software solutions to global nonprofits, helps promote the causes of philanthropic organizations in small villages and big cities, and wants you to partner with the executive marketing team on a daily basis to execute exciting strategic initiatives. DonorPro, headquartered in Wexford, PA, was founded in 2003 and over the last five years has enjoyed exponential annual growth. We’re at the intersection of B2B, B2C, SAaS, and nonprofit marketing and we need your help in rolling out and implementing our 2014 marketing strategy.

We need gifted individuals who can assist in the development of strategic pieces of fully integrated marketing campaigns to help perpetuate our brand at national and international levels.  The marketing components will leverage cutting-edge digital campaign techniques as well as traditional media tools.  We are looking for a Creative Marketing Elements Intern with the necessary skills to assist our team and exceptional clients.

Objectives:

At the end of this internship, you will have an understanding of:

  • How inbound marketing strategies contribute to the overall effectiveness of lead generation and conversion. 
  • How crucial user centric design is to the lead conversion process. 
  • How to effectively manage content in Drupal CMS.
  • How to create Facebook landing pages and web landing pages.

Responsibilities:

  • Design online and print assets for national marketing campaigns and company events.
  • Increase website/landing page effectiveness through design.
  • Create 3D product images, infographics, and other visual aids for inbound approach.
  • Create materials for pitches to potential sponsors and partners.
  • Assist in creating graphic assets for social media.
  • Work on semester-long projects that will be implemented in the organization.

 

Requirements:

  • High skill level in using Adobe Creative Suite for print and/or online design.
  • Ability to create 3D images, infographics, and other visual aids for inbound approach.
  • Knowledge of and ability to effectively utilize mainstream social media platforms.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
  • Business writing (blogging) and editing capability.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly.
  • Creative Design, Marketing and related Majors.

 

Internship Details:

  • 15 hours/week - dates and times flexible depending on school schedule.
  • Offered for credit or non-credit experience.
  • Computer with access to Adobe Creative Products is encouraged.
  • Looking for candidate who can start in December/January.
  • This internship is paid. Work location is flexible provided you have access to a computer and web.
