Thought Leadership and Training Webinars Boosted Attendance at DonorPro's 2013 Users' Conference 

 

September 27, 2013 -- Pittsburgh, PA -- Hundreds gathered in online meeting rooms for DonorPro's 2013 "Power Your Purpose" Virtual Users' Conference last week.

 

The three day event brought the nonprofit software users together to hear Thought Leaders present on a wide range of topics including talent cultivation, grassroots fundraising campaigns, branding, nonprofit trends, and social media best practices for nonprofits.  

 

The largest number of executives turned out for Forbes Funds President, Kate Dewey, who delivered insightful remarks on nonprofit trends to look for in the next five years. DonorPro Power Users  enthusiastically logged in to learn more about the new product offering, DonorPro MerchantServices, and to get a closer look at the forthcoming release of DonorPro10.

 

Hosting the 2013 conference virtually was a change from the 2012 Users' Conference which was held at the Heinz History Center in downtown Pittsburgh. “The goal was to create greater accessibility to training and thought leadership for our global client base who don't necessarily have the funds to attend a live show every year. Based on early feedback, it seems going virtual worked really well!" said Roy Cheran, Vice President of Marketing & Sales at DonorPro.

 

June Huilit from Ohio-based Viola Starzman Free Clinic commented, "I really liked this setup, it saved me time and money and I enjoyed logging in and listening right on my desktop."

 

On October 25, 2012, DonorPro will participate in the 9th TechNow Conference held by the Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management. Our team is looking forward to meeting nonprofit fundraising and technology professionals and sharing new products and releases from DonorPro. 

Donna Myers will co-present with Dan Rossi, Executive Director of Animal Friends. The session, titled "The Rules Are A'-Changing: Integrated Fundraising Success in the Digital Age", will feature integrated fundraising strategy and provide tips for making it work. 

DonorPro 9.0 now includes new features to streamline coding, tracking, and reporting for all types of solicitations and direct mail campaigns. These new features include tools for integrated fundraising campaigns, automated direct mail, barcode scanning, tracking success metrics, and list segmentation for accurate and successful outreach.

Plans for our first DonorPro Users Conference have been set. From September 19-21, 2012, we'll welcome DonorPro customers from all over the United States and Canada in Pittsburgh, PA. We'll host sessions on fundraising, database management, nonprofit outreach, and new ways of communicating with constituents.
